- Gentlewonman –
Winter air slow, slowly wandering on the ground
Window lattices grow, growing lushly into branches of town
Urban greenery crawls, as wallpapers, on roof tiles
landing in the poorest of land; growing toward the brightest of light
sunshine is the city’s richest soil
Golden dust, as fairy casts magic, glitter above the city
Car wheels, as bow rubs strings, swish along the streets
cloudbanks twirl over, raindrops patter down, mist dampens the body
All that’s strong is soft; all that’s soft tough,
as burnt ashes remain, as reborn grasses ramble, as stars sprinkle in the sky
just as waves gently caress the beach,
just as every time you sway in memory.
